Brake pads and brake rotors do not need to be the same brand to work properly.
There's nothing wrong with buying different brake rotor brands and different brake pad brands on your vehicle.
My vehicles have different brake pads and different rotors made by different brands.
I buy my brake rotors online and my brake pads I buy at Autozone.
It has never been an issue.
You can also use different banded brake drums and different branded brake shoes as well.
Your vehicles brakes will work the same whether you use the same brand of brake pads and brake rotors or whether you use different brands of brake pads and brake rotors.
The vehicle will know no different and will work the same.
