The best time to try and get pregnant is when you're the most fertile and when a woman is most fertile is during the time you're ovulating.
When you're ovulating it means that your egg is released from your ovaries.
This happens 12 to 14 days before your next period starts so as long as you try to get pregnant before 12 to 14 days before your next period then you're the most fertile during that time and have a much higher chance of getting pregnant.
So you have the highest chance of getting pregnant a day or so after your period and no later than 11 days after the period.
