You should wash your clothes as often as after each wear of the clothes.

It's generally a good idea to change your clothes daily and wash the clothes after they've been worn once although sometimes jeans, sweaters and outerwear can be washed after a few wears unless they get really dirty.

Clothes such as socks, underwear, active wear and shirts ideally should be washed after each wear of these clothes.

Clothes such as T-shirts, blouses and dresses can usually be worn 2 times before needing to wash them as long as they are not stained or smelly.

Underwear, socks, leggings, tights, and active wear need to be washed after each wear as a result of sweat buildup and bacteria buildup.

Clothes such as dress pants, slacks and pajamas can be washed after you wear them 2 to 3 times.

Jeans, sweaters and casual jacks can be washed after 4 to 5 wears.

And outerwear clothing such as jackets and coats can be washed once or twice a season unless they get really dirty.

Delicate fabrics such as wool and silk may only require hand washing or dry cleaning every few weeks to few months.

I personally cannot stand to wear any clothing after even one wear as I feel yucky putting the clothes back on that I wore and then took a shower and put the clothes back on.

I feel like I'm simply getting dirty again so I always put fresh pants, shirts etc on no matter what even if they are worn only one time.

All of my clothes are worn one time and then washed, except for my coats and jackets.
