Pouring coke onto your hair for lice does really work and my mom used to use it on me when I had head lice as a kid.
To get rid of head lice using coke you need to wash your hair out first, and then slowly pour the coke over your head and massage it in to your hair.
Then to make the coke more effective at killing the head lice rub some eucalyptus oil onto hair and scalp and let both the coke and the eucalyptus oil sit in your hair for an hour and then use regular shampoo to wash the coke and eucalyptus oil out of your hair.
While the coke and eucalyptus oil is working on killing the lice put a shower cap over your hair.
