Mating in humans is called sexual intercourse.

Humans mate through sexual intercourse which involves the physical act of a man placing his penis in a woman's vagina and constantly going up and down with the male penis in the vagina.

As the penis moves up and down in the woman's vagina it stimulates the penis and eventually causes sperm to shoot out of the penis.

The sperm then goes into the woman's vagina where it hopefully fertilizes an egg and creates a baby.

Having sex does not always mean the woman will get pregnant as some women can be infertile and sometimes it takes longer to become pregnant and the male and female may need to have sex more times to become pregnant.

Human mating can also be known as assortative mating.

In assortative mating humans often choose partners that have similar traits, such as physical appearance, social background, or interests.

Non random mating unlike random mating, humans tend to select their partners based on specific criteria and not purely by chance.

Mating in humans refers to the process of sexual reproduction, where a male and female come together to produce offspring.
