You can prevent ingrown hairs from growing in your pubic area by applying some lubricating shave gel or shave cream before shaving the pubic hair.

Use some lubricating gel or shave cream to prevent the pubic hairs from becoming ingrown.

But before you apply the shave gel wash the area with mild soap and also exfoliate the area where the pubic hairs are by using an exfoliating scrub.

Then after shaving and exfoliating the pubic hair apply some moisturizer to the area.
