Do rabbits see well in the dark?

Rabbits don't have excellent vision at night however rabbits eyes are built to see at least pretty good in the dark or low light conditions.

Rabbits tend to prefer to be active at dusk or dawn when the light levels are low and during those low light levels Rabbits have a better vision in low light conditions than they do during the daylight hours.
