Price of scrap steel can change daily and or weekly so what it may be right now may be a different price tomorrow.
But right now in my area scrap steel is 5 cents per lb or $100.00 per ton.
You need 2,000 lbs of scrap steel to make $100.00 so it's not very much but much better than it going to the dump.
