Neighbor’s dog won't stop barking and I can't sleep

My neighbors dogs have been barking all night for the past two months and I cannot get to sleep at night and I'm terribly sleep deprived.

What's worse is they already had two large dogs that are barking all night outside and they got two more so now they have 4 large dogs in there backyard that are barking nonstop and nothing is out there for them to be barking about.

How can I get the neighbors dogs to shut up once and for all so I can get my sleep?

I seriously wish I could move far away from neighbors but right now that's not an option.

If your neighbors are nice people or seem like nice people then the first thing you should do is go over to the neighbors house and politely let the neighbors know that their dogs barking is keeping you awake at night and ask them if they could do something about it like bring the dogs inside during the night so you can get some sleep.

Dogs usually bark because they're lonely at night or they could hear something far off in the distance that's making them bark even though you can't hear or see anything.

If the neighbors don't agree to do something about the dog barking then you may have to report the dog barking to the city or animal control since in some cities or towns they have a noise ordinance that sometimes includes dogs excessive barking.

You could also get a device that you put in your yard and aim it at the dogs who're barking and only the dogs will hear the sound emitted from it and will shut up.
