AutoZone parts are not always OEM as AutoZone sells aftermarket parts although you can get limited access to some OEM parts through AutoZone which can be either new or remanufactured.

But the majority of parts at AutoZone are aftermarket parts.

Duralast is owned by AutoZone and is AutoZones private label brand for parts including batteries and other parts.

Duralast is made by Johnson Controls as well as East Penn, Exide and some other manufacturers depending on the part or product.

Valucraft, Duralast Gold and Duralast are private label brands of AutoZone for their lead acid automotive batteries and some other auto parts.

Duralast parts are good parts because they're built to OEM specs, they come with a great warranty and they're a quality part.

AutoZone decided to launch their own high-quality line of parts, Duralast.

Alternators and starters were the first parts to carry the Duralast brand name.

Today, the Duralast brand also includes many part types including starters, alternators, batteries, chassis, shocks and struts, vehicle electronics and more!

Duralast Products Corporation is a manufacturer of aftermarket automotive parts established in 1986 and headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee, USA.

The company supplies repair shops and consumers with its product portfolio which includes brake pads, starters, ignition coils, hub assemblies, and brake rotors.

Duralast Starters and Alternators are remanufactured, replacing all wear components and malfunctioning assemblies, not just rebuilt with the original cleaned-up pieces.
