There is a bug that explodes which are called the bombardier beetle.
Bombardier beetles are a type of ground beetle in the tribes of Metriini, Ozaenini, Paussini and Brachinini and have more than 500 species altogether.
The Bombardier beetle is best known for it's defense mechanism that gives the bombardier beetle it's name.
When the bombardier beetle is disturbed and feels threatened they will ejects hot noxious chemical spray from the tip of their abdomen with a popping sound.
With an audible pop sound, bombardier beetles spray a concoction of boiling, irritating chemicals at predators that get too close them.
The bombardier beetles have plenty of ammo and can rapidly fire their chemicals over and over again.
There's also a bug that pops up in the air which is called the click beetle.
When a click beetle is touched, the click beetle then falls on its back and plays dead.
To right itself and get back upright the click beetle bends it's head and thorax forward, hooking a spine into a notch on the abdomen.
When the spine of the click beetle is released, it makes a click, and the beetle is hurled into the air.
