Beer is good for worms in small amounts and can extend the life of the worm.

However beer in laws can kill grubworms.

A small amount of alcohol like a bottle of beer that is diluted in 100 gallons of water can actually double the lifespan of the worm.

The alcohol can help the worms live longer because the small amount of ethanol in the alcohol can extend the worms life from 15 days to 40 days.

Too much beer or alcohol though can kill off the worms so you have to be careful on the amount of beer you given the worms.

Beer or alcohol can also cause worms to crawl more slowly and wriggle less.

But if the worms have a safe zone in their habitat, a little alcohol shouldn't cause any issues.

The alcohol or beer will likely evaporate or be converted into something else quickly.

The carbs in the beer and alcohol can also help boost microbe activity after the alcohol is gone.

Foods that you should not feed worms include.

Oils and liquids like soup.
Citrus or acidic foods.
Cooked or processed foods.
Bread or pasta.
Meat and milk and milk products.
And spicy food including garlic, onions or chili.
