Not really.
I decided last month to move my computer and desk in front of a window so I could see the outside and although I loved seeing the outdoors by facing the computer near a window I found it hard to keep concentration on the task I was doing on my computer and it strained my eyes from the suns glare that bounced off my back wall and onto my computer screen.
What I did though is to move my computer desk to the left side of the window so that I could still keep my view out the window but the glare wasn't there.
I also love having the window open next to my computer desk on nice spring days when it's not too cold or too hot.
So my advise is if you want to put the computer desk in front of a window don't put the computer monitor and desk directly in front of the window but move it to the left or right side of the window instead to prevent glare on the screen.
