If you have a toothache and cannot go to the dentist then there's a few home remedies you can try to alleviate the pain from the toothache.
However if your toothache continues to come back over and over again then your tooth could be infected and a dentist should really take a look at it.
To ease the pain of a toothache at home though you can try sucking on some ice or apply a hot pack to the side of your jaw to help with the toothache pain.
Rinsing your mouth out with warm salt water can also help to get rid of a toothache or even using a peppermint tea bag or vanilla extract.
To get rid of a toothache using vanilla extract take a little of the vanilla extract put it on your finger and dab it on the affected tooth and gums.
For the tea bag get it wet and then freeze the tea bag and once the tea bag is frozen you can place the peppermint or other tea bag between the tooth that is throbbing and in pain.
