When the flu is beginning you'll usually start having aches all over your body.

Body aches are usually the first sign that you're getting the flu.

Then you may get a sore throat and have other symptoms of the flu such as Fever, Chills, headaches, nausea, fatigue, flushing of the skin and coughing and Stuffy or runny nose.

Those are all common symptoms of the flu.

Before the flu starts setting in you should take some medicine to help with the symptoms of the flu and it's a good idea to get prescribed some Tamiflu from your doctor to help relieve the symptoms of the flu.

Other than that all you can do for the flu is to get plenty of rest, drink plenty of water and wait it out.

In a week or 10 days the flu should be gone.

The flu is a common viral infection that can be deadly, especially in high-risk groups.

The flu attacks the lungs, nose, and throat.

Young children, older adults, pregnant women, and people with chronic disease or weak immune systems are at high risk.

Symptoms include fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, congestion, runny nose, headaches, and fatigue.

The flu is treated primarily with rest and fluid to let the body fight the infection on its own.

Over-the-counter anti-inflammatory pain relievers may help with symptoms.

An annual vaccine can help prevent the flu and limit its complications.
