I like to keep my room temperature in the winter months between 68 F to 72 F and any lower than 68 F then I feel too chilly in my home during the day.
During the night I can turn the thermostat down to 60 F to keep the house just warm enough and to save money on my heating bills but the house stays warm enough to keep the pipes from freezing.
When I'm asleep I'm underneath layers of warm blankets so don't feel as cold as I would during the day.
