I'm 60 years old and want to get a mortgage to buy a home in the country.

I've rented a home for most of my life and never owned a home.

I want to buy a nice place in the country but not sure if I can get a 30 year mortgage now that I'm 60 years old.

Yes it's possible to get a 30 year mortgage at 60 years old or even at 115 years old.

Lenders can't discriminate against age when getting a mortgage or other loan.

As long as you have sufficient income to pay the monthly payments and taxes on the property and you have good credit then you should qualify for that 30 year Mortgage.
