The PSI that is needed to clean concrete is 3,000 PSI.

You can clean concrete with lower pressure although it won't get the concrete as clean as 3,000 psi or higher.

The PPE that is needed for power washing and pressure washing is work boots, non slip shoes, closed toe shoes and eye protection which can also include a full face shield for water pressure above 2,000 psi to avoid head injury and eye injury.

Safety glasses should also be used for protecting your eyes from flying debris when power washing and pressure washing.

Pressure washer injuries are so bad because the strong spray from the pressure washer and high pressure can cause serious wounds which can appear minor and then get infected later on.

Pressure washer injuries can also get severe enough to lead to the need for amputation or even disability.

A pressure washer can penetrate skin even with as little as 100 to 200 PSI although pressure washers put out as much as 1,000 psi and higher.

The PSI that a pressure washer should be is 2000 to 3000 PSI to help clean tough surfaces such as brick or concrete.

A pressure washer can cut through bone and especially if the pressure washer is 2,000 psi or 4,000 psi or higher.

You can cut your toe off with a pressure washer if it has a high enough pressure.

An industrial pressure washer would be high enough to cut your toe off and even some home type pressure washers could cut a toe off with enough pressure.

The psi that can cut skin is as little as 100 psi although pressure washers put out around 2,000 to as much as 12,000 psi which can cause more severe cuts and damage.

If a pressure washer hits your skin it can cause a cut to the skin or a more severe injury.

In some cases it may not cut your skin if you're far enough away from the pressure washer nozzle and got away from it quickly.

However the closer you are to the pressure washer nozzle and stream of water the higher chance you have at getting a cut or wound which may bleed or not bleed.

A pressure washer injury is a wound or cut that occurs from the water pressure of a pressure washer.

The high water pressure of a pressure washer can cut through the skin and cause a serious injury or small superficial wound.

Pressure washers can cause widespread multi-layer soft tissue injuries.

The psi that it takes for water to cut skin is at least 1,000 psi and the higher pressure cuts the skin deeper and faster.

A water stream of 1,700 psi can actually punch a hole into concrete.

If a pressure washer hits your foot it can cause a serious cut and injury to the skin.

The injury and wound from the pressure washer may or may not need stitches depending on how serious it is.

It's best to wear regular shoes or work boots when using a pressure washer and keep the pressure washer nozzle away from your foot.

Pressure washers put out a lot of pressure and if you put your hand in front of a pressure washer nozzle the water pressure can actually cut through the skin of your hand and cause serious wounds.

So you should never point a pressure washer nozzle at a person, animal or put your hand in front of it for any reason.

Pressure washing companies do not use their own water if there is water on site.

Most pressure washing companies will use the customers water and water spigot for their pressure washer.

However some pressure washing companies bring water with them in large water storage tanks.

The water used by the pressure washing company for residential places is not all that much or that costly.

When I hired a pressure washing company to pressure wash my driveway and house they used my water which was okay.

The water bill didn't go up by much and was only maybe $2.00 more.

Most standard pressure washers will use between 2 to 4 GPM.”

That comes a total of 120 to 240 Gallons Per Hour.

To bring that into perspective, a standard bathtub holds about 80 gallons of water.

If you were to clean your house for 1 hour straight, you'd be using the equivalent of about 2 to 3 baths.
