35 psi is considered too low for water pressure.

The recommended water pressure is between 40 psi to 60 psi for best water flow and performance.

35 psi can work okay for some people although if the water pressure drops below 35 psi then it can cause issues with slower water flow, difficulty with showers and even problems with appliances.

I've had 35 psi at one house before in a town and while it wasn't the greatest water pressure it was enough to get by on and allow me to shower and wash clothes.

Now my water pressure at my house in a new town is 40 psi which is much better.

35 psi is the minimum water pressure requirement for towns and municipalities.

Most water companies are only required to provide a minimum of 35 psi for water pressure but some try to maintain a higher pressure of between 40 to 60 psi if possible.

Having low water pressure can cause slower water flow from faucets, difficulty in filling bathtubs and showers and even cause issues with appliances like washing machines and dishwashers.

It's also important that you don't have too high of water pressure which can cause damage to plumbing fixtures and pipes.

Having a water pressure over 80 psi will lead to damage to plumbing and pipes and plumbing fixtures as well as washing machines, dishwashers etc.
