The time it takes for an abscess to heal will vary depending on how big the abscess actually is and how fast you yourself take to heal.
Sometimes it takes only a couple of days, sometimes it takes weeks for an abscess to heal up.
To help with the healing of the Abscess take a warm gauze and place it on the abscess.
The warm gauze on the Abscess will keep it open and and help it to drain.
Apply the warm gauze (not too hot) for 10 minutes and repeat this for 4 times a day.
Also Try not to press on the abscess or open it with a needle or you risk pushing the bacteria deeper into your blood which can worsen the infection.
All in all an Abscess should fully heal within 10 days but sometimes an abscess can heal in 7 days or less.
