You don't normally tip for Botox as tipping the injector of Botox is not usually a good idea.

Most people don't tip for Botox as it's medicine and it's not recommended to leave a tip for medicine.

The amount of units of Botox for 11 lines is between 10 to 20 units of Botox.

Botox Cosmetic is FDA-approved for use on horizontal forehead lines, “11” lines between the eyes, and crow's feet around the eyes.

The amount of units of Botox you need for a lip flip is between 4 units to 6 units of Botox which cost between $10.00 to $15.00 for each unit.

A lip flip costs quite a bit less when compared to a lip filler.

Lip filler can cost between $650.00 to $1,000.00 or more and a Lip Flip costs around $100.00 to $500.00 which makes Lip Flip much cheaper than lip filler.

A good candidate for a lip flip is a person who wants to have slightly fuller lips but without committing to dermal fillers or if you have a gummy smile.

Other people that are good candidates are those who want to have fuller looking lips but don't want to have additional volume or someone that wants to enhance lip shape without adding any volume.

A lip flip looks like your lips appearing slightly larger with your upper lip having a fuller and poutier look to it.

After a lip flip the shape of your lips can also be enhanced and give you a more defined lip line.

The signs that you need a lip flip are if you want to have fuller lips without having to go through a surgical procedure or if you feel that your upper lip thins too much whenever you smile.

Most people are good candidates for a lip flip but not everyone is suited for it.

A lip flip is most often good for 3 months to 4 months although sometimes the lip flip may last up to 6 months.

Lip fillers last longer and can usually last 4 to 6 months.

Not everyone is a candidate for a lip flip and the right candidates for a lip flip are the people who when they smile, their upper lip flips under.

When you lose your upper lip when you smile then you would be a candidate for a lip flip.

The injection for a lip flip is done into the corners of the mouth or oral commissures and the edges of the lips called the vermillion border.

The botulinum toxin for a lip flip injection relaxes the muscles around the upper lip and makes the flip upward a tiny bit and appear larger than normal.

A lip flip costs between $100.00 to $500.00

Lip filler on the other hand costs around $650.00 to $1,000.00 and sometimes more depending on the type of lip filler and amount used and the practitioner's location

A lip flip is a type of procedure that uses neuromodulators, such as Botox, to relax a muscle in your upper lip, causing your lip to "flip" and giving the appearance of a fuller upper lip.

The lip flip procedure is different than getting lip fillers, which are injections directly into the lip, as opposed to above it.

Lip flip results are temporary and last about 8 weeks.

The effect of the lip flip wears off quicker than other areas where Botox is injected because the amount of Botox used is necessarily small and the lip muscles are particularly active.

A Botox Lip Flip can have potential complications.

A Botox Lip Flip going wrong can end in uneven results, excessive muscle relaxation and complications from an inexperienced practitioner.

These are just some of the risks.

Lip flips generally look more natural than lip fillers.

If too much lip flip product is injected, it will result in an over relaxation of your lip.

It can also make your lips hard to close and affect how you talk, smile, drink and kiss!

The effects don't last as long as Dermal Lip Fillers.

The muscles around your lip may relax too much.

The lip flip enhances the existing shape of your upper lip, letting the vermilion border roll outward very slightly.

This result is subtle especially when you are not smiling and may be disappointing if you are hoping for a noticeable change in your lip shape or size.

The lip flip uses a tiny needle, but this is still a needle, so there is mild pain.

Most people getting a lip flip do not feel the need for numbing cream or even ice.

And the injection for the lip flip generally takes less than a minute.
