To make a bottle rocket with vinegar and baking soda you will need a water bottle, some white vinegar and baking soda.

You also need to make a baking soda release pack to allow time to get away from the bottle rocket while the baking soda releases to set the rocket off.

To make the baking soda release pack

Place a heaping 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of baking soda into the center of a paper towel.

Fold and roll the paper towel into a small packet making sure the baking soda is securely packed inside. Additionally, the packet should be small enough so it can fit inside the soda bottle.

The paper towel acts as a time release. This way, you will have enough time to step away from the rocket before it explodes.

Attach some fins if you want too to the bottle and then Next fill the bottle halfway with vinegar and and then go outside in a open area and then set the bottle rocket into place and place the baking soda packet into the bottle and then the bottle rocket should take off in a few seconds after setting it down.

Here's a link to a more detailed instructions on how to make a bottle rocket with vinegar.

There's too much to type out here so I'll post the link to more information.
