There's no set temperature that a central heating system needs to be set at and you should set the thermostat temperature at a temperature setting that is comfortable for you and anyone else in the household.
My thermostat is on 75 F in the winter because I love my house to be nice and warm and can't tolerate the house being below 75 F in the winter.
I've tried 65 F before to save some money but I was too cold and I didn't save much so I turned it back up to 75 F where I'm most comfortable.
At night I turn the thermostat down to 65 F which is comfortable when sleeping but not during the day.
