When your ear becomes clogged it's usually due to the Eustachian tubes in your ear becoming swelled out which is caused by inflammation of your sinuses cavities.
When your Eustachian tubes become swelled the connection between your middle ear and throat is closed which then puts pressure on your ear drum causing the clogged ear feeling.
