No not really although in 1998 is when I think Pampers introduced the size 6 baby diaper which was there largest size diaper at the time.

Even 20 years later with there size 7 and even size 8 diaper coming out both the size 7 and size 8 are about in range with size with the old Vintage diapers although in the Vintage diaper days they had tape and they didn't stretch like disposable baby diapers of today.

I wear Pampers Cruisers size 7 sometimes and they fit somewhat but I have to stretch the tabs and with the old plastic backed pampers I wouldn't have any tabs to stretch and wouldn't fit in them.

I do miss the old days of the plastic backed pampers which is what I wore when I was an actual baby and toddler.

I still today prefer plastic backed diapers so I mostly wear plastic backed adult diapers from Abuniverse and other plastic backed diapers.

Even though I do love Pampers too I wear them when I'm feeling in the mood.
