Pine Sol is good for cleaning wood furniture and great for cleaning wood floors as well.

You can use a sponge or rag to wipe down wood furniture to clean it and remove dust and keep the wood furniture shining.

Pine Sol is also good for cleaning up dog urine and also stop the dog from urinating in the areas cleaned with Pine Sol.

Dogs hate the smell of Pine Sol and will avoid areas cleaned with Pine Sol and the Pine Sol cleans up and gets rid of the dog urine odor as well.

Pine Sol is toxic to dogs before it dries and if ingested the Pine Sol can make your dog sick although once dry the Pine Sol is safe for dogs.

Pine Sol is safe for dogs after it dries.

Once the Pine Sol has dried it is safe for the dog, cat or other pet to be around it even if they lick the floor or surface.

When still wet the Pine Sol can cause issues and even poisoning in dogs and other pets if they lick it or ingest it.

If a dog, cat or other animal licks or ingests Pine Sol they can get pine oil poisoning.

Pine oil poisoning can lead to failure of the nervous system, kidney and liver damage, respiratory failure, and death in a very short time.

Pine Oil is a common household cleaner and disinfectant that is toxic to dogs, even in small amounts.

The Pine Sol is toxic to dogs and cats and other pets but it takes a lot of the Pine Sol to cause toxic effects and the toxic effects are usually limited to vomiting and diarrhea.

Pine Sol consists of two agents, propylene glycol and benzoic acid, that are instrumental in eliminating stains and odors while knocking out bacteria and mold.

Therefore, if you're looking to do a deep clean, you can use undiluted Pine-Sol to utilize its full strength.

Also many liquid potpourri products and essential oils, including oil of cinnamon, citrus, pennyroyal, peppermint, pine, sweet birch, tea tree (melaleuca), wintergreen, and ylang ylang, are poisonous to dogs.

Both ingestion and skin exposure can be toxic.

Pine-Sol can be used to clean pet areas, eliminate odors, and keep your home fresh and welcoming for your pets.

I've tried Pine Sol on wood furniture before and wouldn’t recommend it for regular cleaning. It’s a pretty strong cleaner, and while it does a great job on floors, it might be too harsh for your wood furniture in the long run. It can strip away the finish over time, making the wood look dull. If you want something that’ll clean without damaging the surface, maybe try something gentler, like a wood cleaner or a mix of vinegar and water. If you're into DIY projects, I also found an excellent decoupage tutorial that shows how to freshen up old furniture without harsh chemicals. That would be a good alternative if you're looking for a new look for your pieces.

Make sure to test it on a small, hidden area first to check if it affects the finish. For regular cleaning, you might want to stick to a gentler cleaner made for wood to avoid any damage over time.
