Vinegar is safe for hardwood floors and can effectively clean your hardwood floors without causing and damage.

Add some vinegar to a mop bucket to dilute it and then use it to mop the hardwood floor as you normally would but avoid over saturating the hardwood floor.

Dawn dish soap and other dish soap as well as Pine Sol is safe for hardwood floors as well.

To clean wood floors you can use Pine Sol, Vinegar and Dish Soap, or Vinegar alone or Dish Soap alone or even Fabuloso.

Just don't over saturated the floor and wring out the mop good when mopping your wood floors.

You can also use Swiffer and Swiffers pads to clean your wood floors with.

Vinegar can clean wood floors and hardwood floors and does not damage the hardwood floors either.

The best homemade floor cleaning solution is a mixture of water, white vinegar, rubbing alcohol and dish soap.

Mix together some warm water, 1/2 cup of white vinegar, 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol and around 1/8 tsp of dish soap and mix together in a bucket.

Then use your mop to mop the floor with the homemade floor cleaning solution.

You can also use just dish soap or some vinegar to mop and clean your floors with.

If you have some stubborn grime on your floors you can also sprinkle some baking soda and put vinegar on the grime on the floor and mop the floor with the baking soda and vinegar.

A simple mixture of Dawn Dish Soap and Vinegar mixed together makes a great homemade floor cleaning solution that works just as well as most commercial floor cleaning solutions.

Simply mix one part Dawn dish soap and two parts white vinegar, in a bucket and mop the floor with the soapy mixture.

If using plain white vinegar to mop the floors with you will not need to rinse the floor.

There's no need to rinse your vinegar-mopping solution from your floors.

Keep in mind that your floors should be drying very quickly if you've wrung out your mop sufficiently.

When mopping a floor you most often need to also rinse the mop out to remove dirt before going over the floor again.

Many cleaners spray a ton of floor soap, believing "wet equals clean."

Then they forget to rinse out their mop pad, resulting in a floor mop that is fully saturated with dirty water.

Continuing to use the mop pad on the floor leads to smearing dirt, not lifting it.
