What happened to Harry's razors is they underwent a significant shift and initially faced an antitrust blocked acquisition by Edgewell Personal Care and then they rebranded as Mammoth Brands.
And although the original deal to sell to Edgewell, the parent company of Schick, was scrapped by the FTC as a result of concerns for competition.
Harry's then continued to grow and also expand their product line.
Harry's blades are made in Eisfeld, Germany at Feintechnik GmbH Eisfeld.
The razor handles of Harry's shavers are designed in the USA and made in China but the blades are made in Germany and not China.
Harry's and Flamingo are the same company because Flamingo is a brand that is also owned by Harry's Inc.

And in May 2019, Edgewell Personal Care, the owner of the Schick brand of shaving products, announced planned to purchase Harry's for $1.4 billion.
The merger was intended to finalise by the end of the first quarter of 2020.
