Some people keep there thermostat set at 65 F in the winter to keep their heating bills low but for me I tried 65 F and it was just too darn chilly in the house for me where I had to wear a jacket and I hate wearing jackets inside my house.
I turned it up to 70 F and that's warm enough for me during the day but at night when I'm under the cover 50 F to 55 F is comfortable since I'm under my blankets.
I can afford to pay the higher gas bills to stay warm so that's what I do.
I won't be cold in my own house since I have the money to stay warm.
