Energy is not hydration as hydration is basically the act of drinking fluids such as water to replenish the water that is in your body.

Energy is the ability to perform work and although staying hydrated is very important for maintaining energy levels, having energy does not mean you're hydrated.

Being dehydrated can affect your energy levels significantly and make you fee sluggish and tired.

Hydration in chemistry is the process of adding water molecules to a substance.

The process of hydration often involves the surrounding of ions or molecules by the water molecules when a compound dissolves in the water.

Essentially hydration is a substance that is combining with water to form a hydrated compound.

The hydration reaction is a chemical reaction in which water is added to a compound.

And when ionic compounds such as salts dissolve in water, their ions then become surrounded by water molecules, which is then called hydration.

In organic chemistry, hydration often refers to adding water across a double bond in an alkene molecule.

And hydrate is a compound that contains water molecules that are incorporated into it's structure.

The human body requires proper hydration to work and function properly and to allow you to live.

In the human body hydration is the body's ability to absorb water, which is the vital liquid it needs, and is based on how much is available to it.

Every cell, tissue, and organ in the body requires fluid to perform functions such as maintaining temperature, disposing of waste products and lubricating joints.
