Baking soda can clean a toilet bowl especially if you use baking soda along with vinegar to clean the toilet bowl.
Baking soda works as a good and mild abrasive which can be used to scrub stains away in the toilet bowl as well as grime.
The vinegar when used along with the baking soda helps to dissolve any lime scale and mineral deposits in the toilet bowl.
To use baking soda and vinegar to clean your toilet bowl, start by pouring a good amount of white vinegar into your toilet bowl and ensure the vinegar reaches the areas under the toilet bowl rim where the stains often buildup.
Then sprinkle some baking soda over the vinegar and allow it to fizz.
The mixture of baking soda and vinegar will start to fizz which is normal and means that the reaction between baking soda and vinegar is taking place and is working.
Allow it to fizz for around 5 to 10 minutes or so.
Then use a toilet brush to scrub the toilet bowl and be sure to also scrub under the rim of the toilet bowl.
Allow the mixture to also sit for around 30 minutes.
Then flush the toilet a few times to clean the baking soda and vinegar out of the toilet bowl.
