Baby oil can be used as oil for the skin although not for oiling things that require lubrication such as sewing machines, electric motors, machines, engines etc.

Baby oil is a good skin moisturizer although it's not the right consistency or composition for properly lubricating machinery.

However you could use baby oil to lubricate hinges, zippers etc or even locks or things that don't require heavy lubrication.

Baby oil is actually mineral oil.

Baby oil is essentially just mineral oil and mineral oil is an odorless, colorless oily substance that is derived from petroleum.

Mineral oil is a primary ingredient in many baby oil products which provide the baby oil products and baby oil's lubricating and moisturizing properties.

Some brands of baby oil may also add in fragrances, emollients and other ingredients to the baby oil formulas.

So in reality, the only real difference between baby oil and mineral oil is that baby oil is mineral oil that has fragrance added into it.

You can use regular mineral oil on the skin including adult skin, kids skin, baby and toddlers skin etc.

Baby oil is just essentially the same as mineral oil but with added fragrance.

And baby oil is a mineral oil which has been refined and then lightly fragranced to give it a certain scent.

Mineral oil is a highly refined petroleum product that is used in various applications, which include baby oil, cosmetics and is even used as a mild laxative.
