Genetic freckles are rare and the freckles are more common in people that have red hair or fair skin.

The facts about people with freckles are.

Freckles occur in people because of genes that the person is born with.
Freckles most often show up and appear in childhood and most people continue to get freckles until they are in their 20s.
Freckles are also more common in people that have red hair or fair skin but anyone can get them.
Freckles are also called ephelides.

More freckles as you age is caused by the skin showing the culminaton of the sun's damaging rays and age spots to appear.

Just like age spots the freckles are also caused by exposure to sun and most melasma is caused by sun damage.

Lots of freckles are attractive although some people may not find them attractive but freckles can be a thing of beauty.

Freckles on a face are attractive to a lot of people and also make you look younger which can be a good thing in some cases.

Not everyone finds freckles attractive but a lot of people do.

The people that have the most freckles are Nordic people and Celtic people as well as people in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Scotland.

Many people in the USA and Canada also have freckles as well.

Freckles are dominant as they have a dominant inheritance pattern and parents that have freckles themselves are more likely to also have children with freckles too.

The benefits of having freckles are they make you look younger, add warm glow to the skin and complexion and give your skin a sun kissed tanned appearance.

The freckles also help to block some harmful UV rays.

Freckles do have a purpose which is to act like sun screens and are the body's natural way to block UV rays from penetrating deeper layers of the skin.

Freckles are not sun damage but instead protect areas of your skin which are very sensitive to ultraviolet light or UV light.

Age spots that look like freckles are small, flat dark areas on your skin which can vary in size and most often appear on areas of skin exposed to the sun such as your hands, face, arms and shoulders.

Age spots are also called solar lentigines, liver spots and sunspots.

Freckles do make you look younger as freckles are associated with youth and freckles can be a good thing although some people hate them.

The hormone that causes freckles is estrogen.

As the estrogen decreases it can stimulate the production of melanin which causes freckles and other skin pigmentation as you age.

Freckles suddenly appear due to the overproduction of melanin which is a pigment that gives the skin, eyes and hair it's color or complexion.

The melanin is made by the skin cells that are called melanocytes which protects the skin from sun damage by absorbing and also reflecting ultraviolet light.

You are not born with freckles as you get them as a result of genes that you are born with.

You're born with the genes to get freckles but you're not born with the freckles themselves.

You can reverse freckles by avoiding sunlight too much, using baking soda and castor oil, using apple cider vinegar or even having laser treatment to remove the freckles.

To get rid of freckles naturally you can use baking soda and castor oil to fade the freckles naturally.

Baking soda does lighten freckles when used along with castor oil.

A mixture of baking soda and castor oil can help to fade the freckles and works as a natural skin exfoliate.

Most times as you age and get older the freckles usually get lighter on their own and in some cases go away fully.

Freckles are inherited from a variant of a gene known as MC1R which alerts the body when it's exposed to harmful UV radiation.

The dominant gene means anyone with at least one copy of the freckle variant from either of the parents will have freckles.

Freckles are dominant and not recessive as freckles have a dominant inheritance pattern.

Parents that have freckles also tend to have children who also have freckles.

The fruit that is good for freckles is Pomegranate, Papaya, Mango, Gooseberry, Avocado, Apricot, Apple, Watermelon, Kiwi, Tomato, Strawberry, Oranges, Lemon, Cucumber and Bananas.

Removing freckles permanently requires laser treatment for the freckle removal.

You can use apple cider vinegar and coconut oil to help fade freckles but they won't permanently remove your freckles.

Apple cider vinegar does fade freckles some and lighten the appearance of the freckles as well due to the malic acid that exfoliates the cells which are darkened due to accumulated melanin.

The freckles ease with time and get lightened with time with the use of apple cider vinegar.

The apple cider vinegar contain malic acid which exfoliates dark skin cells and lightens the freckle and the vinegar reduces hyper pigmentation of any type and improves your overall skin appearance.

Freckles are considered beauty although some people may not like the look of their freckles they are nothing to be ashamed of.

Freckles are most commonly seen in the summer when you're exposed to sunlight more and if you have lighter skin and blond or red hair.

People are not born with freckles although they are born with the genes that can lead to freckles.

Several genes are associated with freckling.

Freckles are small brown spots on the skin and are often in areas that get sun exposure.

In most cases, freckles are harmless and most freckles form as a result of overproduction of melanin, which is responsible for skin and hair color (pigmentation).

Freckles are an inherited feature and although not considered sun damage, they do occur as a result of sun exposure.

Freckles are typically first noticed on children, especially those with fair skin and red hair.

When UV rays hit your skin, freckles develop from an increase in dark pigments called melanin.

Freckles are extremely common and aren't a health threat.

They're more often seen in the summer.

You're more likely to have freckles if you're lighter-skinned and have blond or red hair.

However, freckles can occur in anyone, and appear as darker brown spots if you have darker skin.

When you have a face full of freckles, you already stand out in a crowd.
