You can make distilled water and it's easy to make at home.
To make distilled water at home place water in a pot and then turn the stove on to medium heat and let the water boil.
Then place the lid upside down over the pot and fill the top of the lid with some ice.
The ice on the top of the upside down lid will create condensation as the steam from the boiling water hits the ice cold lid.
The condensation will then begin to drip into the bowl and result in distilled water.
Distilled water is water which has been purified by boiling it into vapor and then condensing that water vapor back into liquid in a separate container.
Any impurities in the original water that doesn't boil below or near the boiling point of the water will remain in the original container.
Making distilled water is a simple process and involves simply filling a pot with some water and boiling it and then taking the lid of the pot and place it upside down on the pot.
Fill the inverted lid of the pot with ice and refresh as needed.
Boil the water.
Steam condenses on the inverted lid, and it then will roll down to the middle and drip into the container.
The water you find in the container will be distilled water.
Distilled water is also pretty cheap to buy as well.
