The two most common presenting symptoms of brain tumor in adults are seizures and headaches.

When it comes to brain tumors in adults and even children or anyone else the most common and first symptom is often headaches which can get worse and be persistent.

Seizures can also accompany the headaches when you have a brain tumor in both adults and children and anyone else.

Around a half of people that have brain tumors have headaches that are often described as being persistent and headaches that get worse over time.

The headaches from a brain tumor may not respond to normal and typical remedies like Tylenol, cool compress etc and the headaches may also be accompanied with vomiting or nausea.

Seizures also occur in half of the people with brain tumors and the type of seizure you have with the brain tumor can also depend on the location of the brain tumor.

And while seizures can also be a sign of a brain tumor, most peoples first seizures are not a result of brain tumors but you should still get any seizures or persistent headaches checked out.

Other symptoms that can occur with a brain tumor in adults and children and anyone else include changes in speech, balance problems, visual changes, changes in memory or personality, numbness or tingling, weakness or difficulty moving a limb, confusion or disorientation, fatigue and nausea and vomiting.

It's possible to have a brain tumor as well as brain cancer, for years without knowing you have it, especially if the brain tumor or brain cancer is slow growing.

However symptoms of the brain tumor or brain cancer can also develop quickly with aggressive brain tumors and aggressive brain cancers.

Some brain tumors such as benign brain tumors, can grow more slowly and might not cause any noticeable symptoms until they become large enough to affect your brain function.

A type of aggressive brain cancer that grows quickly is Glioblastoma which can cause symptoms to develop quickly, often within weeks or months, as the brain tumor grows and then impacts your brain function.

The symptoms of the brain tumor also depends on the location of the tumor as well as the size and growth rate of the brain tumor, but can lead to seizures, headaches, vision problems, movement problems, difficulty with speech and personality changes.

If you think you have a brain tumor you should get checked as soon as possible because the sooner it's caught and the sooner it's treated the better chance you have at surviving the brain tumor or at least slowing down it's growth.

In some cases, brain tumors are discovered by accident during brain scans for other reasons.
