A scored tablet cannot be crushed as they are slow released tablets and are not meant to be crushed.

Certain slow release tablets are scored and cannot be crushed but they can be divided or halved.

Examples of tablet medications that can be divided or halved by not crushed include Sinemet CR "carbidopa and levodopa", Toprol XL, "metoprolol succinate".

And some long acting capsules can also be opened and the contents sprinkled without chewing or crushing.

Some other medications that should not be crushed are.

Acetaminophen ER (Tylenol 8HR)
Aspirin EC (Ecotrin)
Bisacodyl (Dulcolax)
Alprazolam ER (Xanax XR)
Bupropion ER (Aplenzin, Forfivo XL, Wellbutrin SR/XL)
Oxycodone ER (OxyContin, Xtampza ER)
Morphine sulfate ER (MS Contin)

A scored tablet is when a tablet is broken or scored to attain a desired efficacy dose and is also an emerging concept in the pharmaceutical industry.

The main reason for tablet scoring is is to adjust the dose, dose tapering or dose titrating.
