Bupropion is used to treat ADHD although it's most commonly used to treat depression and for quitting smoking.

Bupropion is not very similar to Adderall as Adderall is a stimulant most often prescribed for the treatment of ADHD and bupropion is an antidepressant that is mostly for depression and anxiety.

The drug bupropion is used for treating depression and preventing depression in people with seasonal affective disorder that is sometimes called winter depression.

The drug bupropion is also used as part of a support program to help people quit smoking.

The medication bupropion can make you tired and when taking bupropion most people do get drowsy so you should avoid driving or operating machinery when taking bupropion until you're sure it's not making you tired.

People who should not take bupropion are people who are allergic to bupropion or you have a seizure disorder; an eating disorder such as anorexia or bulimia; or. if you have suddenly stopped using alcohol, seizure medications, or a sedative (such as Xanax, Valium, Fiorinal, Klonopin, and others).

Bupropion is not a painkiller but some people do report they are relieved from some pain when taking Bupropion.

Wellbutrin (brand name for bupropion) is a prescription medication used for depression and smoking cessation.

Wellbutrin works differently than other antidepressants and may also treat anxiety.

Wellbutrin is not a narcotic because it does not bind to opioid receptors.

The drugs that interact with bupropion include.

eliglustat.
isocarboxazid.
phenelzine.
pimozide.
rasagiline.
selegiline.
selegiline transdermal.
tranylcypromine.

What bupropion does to your brain is improve your mood and your sense of well-being by restoring the chemical balance of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain.

The side effects of bupropion also known as Wellbutrin include angle-closure glaucoma or heart attack, may have lifelong complications

Suicidality, worsening of depression, mood changes, mania, hostility, and other neuropsychiatric events can occur with the use of bupropion.

Wellbutrin can show up on a drug test and may lead to a false positive when screening for amphetamine or methamphetamine, or LSD.

Some of the long term effects of Wellbutrin include angle-closure glaucoma or heart attack, may have lifelong complications

Suicidality, worsening of depression, mood changes, mania, hostility, and other neuropsychiatric events can occur with the use of bupropion.

Wellbutrin side effects last from 1 to 2 weeks after starting on Wellbutrin.

Wellbutrin side effects do eventually go away.
