Anxiety can make your blood pressure rise since when you have anxiety your heart tends to pump faster which results in your blood pressure rising.

If your blood pressure is rising when you have anxiety you need to try your best to calm down or see a doctor about it since the high blood pressure can damage blood vessels, Kidneys and heart.

Anxiety doesn't cause long term high blood pressure but does cause temporary spikes in blood pressure when you've got anxiety.
