Can lack of sleep affect your appetite?

Yes lack of sleep can affect your appetite and make you feel more hungry or make your stomach feel like it's never full and always empty.

I know when I don't get enough sleep or have stayed up all night then the next day my stomach will almost always growl like it's empty even though I continuously eat to try and fill my stomach back up.

My stomach never seems to get full so it makes me want to eat more.
