The following is a disorder of the middle ear which include cholesteatoma, chronic otitis media, acute otitis media with effusion, otitis media and Otosclerosis.

The condition Otosclerosis is where the bones in your middle ear harden and cause hearing loss.

Otitis media is a type of infection of your middle ear.

And Cholesteatoma is a growth of skin cells in your middle ear.

The main symptom of a middle ear disorder is hearing loss.

And other symptoms of a middle ear disorder are ear pain and fluid or discharge from the ear.

The most common type of ear infection is otitis media.

Otitis media is caused by swelling and infection of your middle ear and the middle ear is located just behind your eardrum.

An acute ear infection begins over a short period of time and is also painful.

A disorder of the inner ear is called Meniere's disease.

Meniere's disease can cause dizzy spells also known as vertigo and hearing loss.

Most of the time Meniere's disease affects only one ear.

And Meniere's disease can occur at any age.

Patulous Eustachian tube dysfunction is another disorder of the ear and is a disorder of the valve of your Eustachian tube which causes it to remain open.

When the valve remains open the sound can travel from your nasal sinus cavity to your ears and allow you to hear your own voice or your own breathing too loudly or even the sound of your blood pumping.
