The difference between DuoNeb and albuterol is DuoNeb is a combination of ipratropium and albuterol which work together to treat conditions like COPD.

Albuterol which is not a steroid medication belongs to a class of medications known as beta-2 agonists, or bronchodilators, which help open the tubes in the lungs making it easier to breathe.

Albuterol is also used to treat and prevent wheezing, chest tightness, coughing and difficulty breathing due to lung disease such as COPD and is in a class of medications called bronchodilators.

DuoNeb is better than albuterol and more effective.

Both DuoNeb and albuterol are bronchodilators which relax airway muscles and increase airflow to the lungs.

DuoNeb combines ipratropium and albuterol to treat COPD by opening airways and reducing inflammation.

The alternative to DuoNeb is Combivent Respimat, Albuterol, Tiotropium/olodaterol (Stiolto) and Budesonide/formoterol (Symbicort).

DuoNeb has been discontinued as the brand name.

However DuoNeb is still available under the names of ipratropium and albuterol.

Because the brand name Duoneb has been discontinued, the ipratropium/albuterol solution is only available as a generic.

Combivent Respimat is an inhaler that's used to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in adults.

DuoNeb or ipratropium/albuterol is inhaled through a nebulizer and most often 4 times a day.

Side effects of ipratropium/albuterol include chest pain, lung problems and sore throat.

DuoNeb is a medication that combines ipratropium and albuterol to treat chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

DuoNeb works by opening your airways and reducing inflammation in your lungs to help you breathe.

The DuoNeb medication or ipratropium/albuterol comes as a nebulizer.

Nebulizers make a liquid into an aerosol that you breathe in through your mouth and nose.

DuoNeb is long acting and is used regularly to open your airways and keep the airways open.
