Ventolin inhaler is much better than ProAir and works more effectively than ProAir.

Ventolin is not the only rescue inhaler.

Other rescue inhalers besides Ventolin are Primatene Mist, Levalbuterol and Albuterol.

Albuterol is the generic version of Ventolin and albuterol is also available under the brande name of ProAir HFA and Proventil HFA.

Levalbuterol is the generic version of Xopenex and is another common rescue inhaler.

Primeatene Mist is a short acting rescue inhaler which is available without a prescription but should only be used for mild and intermittent asthma.

A Ventolin inhaler is better than a tablet as the Ventolin inhaler works faster than Ventolin tablets and requires a smaller dose.

The Ventolin inhaler delivers the medication directly to your lungs so it can work faster than tablets which require passing through your stomach and your bloodstream.

Ventolin contains no steroids and contains the active ingredient of albuterol which is a sympathomimetic beta agonist bronchodilator which relaxes your smoothe muscle in your airways.

As a result the the airways being relaxed it allows air to flow in and out of your lungs more easily and makes it easier to breathe.

The VENTOLIN HFA inhaler has a dose counter which counts down each time a spray is released.

At any given time, the dose counter of the Ventolin inhaler shows how many sprays of albuterol are left in your inhaler.

Salbutamol also known as Ventolin, Asmol, and Airomir, which are commonly used for asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and other respiratory diseases are important reliever medicines.

These medicines are available over the counter without the need for a prescription from your doctor.

Do not use the Ventolin medicine together with other similar inhaled medicines, including isoproterenol (Isuprel), levalbuterol (Xopenex), metaproterenol (Alupent), pirbuterol (Maxair), or terbutaline (Brethaire).

Ventolin medicine may cause paradoxical bronchospasm, which means your breathing or wheezing will get worse.

You should not use Ventolin if you are allergic to albuterol.

The Ventolin inhaler is also not approved for use by anyone younger than 4 years old.
