When you have a loose tooth it's better to let it eventually fall out instead of pulling it.

However if the loose tooth is loose enough you may be able to wiggle it enough so that it comes loose and comes out.

But as long as the loose tooth is not bothering you or your child it's okay to leave the loose tooth alone and it will eventually fall out on it's own.

Even when kids start to lose their baby teeth the baby teeth start to get loose and then the child can wiggle it.

You can either pull the loose tooth out if loose enough or just wait and allow the loose baby tooth to eventually come loose completely on it's own and fall out.

When I was a kid I would always wiggle my loose tooth until it came out but never actually did any pulling of it.

If the tooth you have is an adult tooth and it's bothering you and causing infections and is loose then you might want to have it pulled but otherwise you can leave the loose tooth alone and it will come out eventually.

A child or yourself won't choke on a loose tooth although it's possible to swallow it in your sleep.

The tooth is small enough that it would simply pass through your throat without any issues but most times you'll wake up when you feel the tooth in your mouth.
