You should clean a rabbit cage thoroughly at least once a week.

However you should also do a daily cleaning of your rabbits cage and remove any urine and poop and add fresh hay daily or twice a day.

Be sure to check on your rabbits cage and the rabbit daily and ensure they have a clean and poop and urine free cage daily.

Daily cleaning of your rabbits cage should be done to remove any wet or dirty shavings, bedding etc.

And you should daily remove any uneaten food, and clean the rabbits food and water containers.

And change your rabbits water everyday to ensure the rabbit has clean water which is essential to your rabbits health.

At least once a week you should remove all the bedding and litter in your rabbits cage and scrub the rabbits cage using some non toxic and pet friendly cleaning products.

Replace the rabbits bedding and litter with fresh bedding and litter.

And you should only allow your rabbit or rabbits back into their cage when it has become completely dry.

Refresh the rabbits litter daily and dump the contents of the litter every couple of days to once a week and spray the rabbits litter pan with some vinegar and wipe it with a paper towel.

Wash all the surfaces of the rabbit cage using some dish washing liquid and water and after they are dry you should wet the surfaces thoroughly using a suitable disinfectant.
