What the Bible says about body odor is and it shall come to pass that instead of sweet smell there shall be an offensive odor.

You do smell more if you shower too much as showering too much and also using excessive soap throws off the balance of the skins natural ecosystem and bacteria then repopulate which produces more odor.

The reason you still smell after showering is because of lingering bacteria that is leftover.
