The reason why everyone is vacationing in Portugal is because Portugal has a nice warm mild climate and has rich history and culture, stunning beaches, affordable prices, delicious food, diverse landscapes, friendly people and unique Fado music.

Portugal is a great place to vacation and is good for travelers that are seeking cultural exploration and relaxation.

I vacationed in Portugal a few times and plan to go back soon and I had a wonderful time and enjoyed the people as well.

People in Portugal are very friendly and are also known for their warm and welcoming nature towards tourists as well as foreigners.

People in Portugal often go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating to those who come into their country.

I've visited Portugal a few times and they've always been very friendly to me and were very helpful and they welcomed me to come back.

I plan to go back to Portugal in a few years and can't wait.

I had a great time in Portugal and would recommend others visit as well.

Portuguese people are also known to readily engage with and assist any newcomers which I've found to be true when I visited.

People in Portugal also often take pleasure in sharing their culture and traditions with visitors and the Portuguese culture emphasizes close relationships within neighborhoods and families which contribute to a sense of hospitality and warmth.

The people in Portugal also tend to be laid back and not quick to become upset which adds to the friendly atmosphere.

However just like anywhere you go you may find a few non friendly Portugal people but most often you will find them to be very friendly.

I looked into visiting Portugal too but ended up booking one of the Turkey travel packages instead since it was cheaper and came with more included—like meals, guided tours, and airport transfers. I’ve heard great things about both places, but for my budget, Turkey made more sense and still had that mix of nice weather, cool history, and beaches I wanted.
