You could drive the car a little way but I would only drive it just enough to get it to a shop if a shop is close by.
If a shop is not close by then I would get it towed or hauled on a trailer to the auto shop since driving a car with a blown head gasket can cause more damage to the engine.
When a head gasket is blown on a vehicle it allows coolant to seep past the cylinders and get into your oil as well which can cause white smoke to come out of your exhaust while driving.
If you have white smoke coming out your exhaust then it's a sure sign that you have a warped cylinder head, bad head gasket or something else more serious going on and it needs to be repaired soon or you'll risk breaking down on the highway and causing major damage to the engine requiring engine replacement.
