A lazy gut is a condition that causes slow movement of waste through your digestive tract and digestive system.

The slow movement of the waste through the digestive system is most often caused by reduced motility of your large intestine.

The lazy gut which is also called lazy bowel syndrome can be a consequence of indirect and direct factors that can result in symptoms of constipation.
