When spacing landscape lights you should space them no longer than 6 to 8 feet apart but you can space the landscapes closer together if you want a better effect.
I have my landscape lights along my pathway to my house spaced 2 feet apart and it works great for me but your results may vary.
I would recommend placing the landscape lights 2 feet apart and see how it looks for you and then either move them closer or farther apart until they're too your liking.
