A woman should have a bath or shower daily or at least everyday on the weekdays.
If you don't shower for a year then your skin can begin getting rashes and break down and germs and skin infections can occur and dirt, dead skin cells and sweat will start to accumulate and you'll begin to stink.
Any ongoing skin conditions can become worse and more difficult to manage and get rid of when you don't shower for 2 weeks or longer.
If you have to go to work then it's better to take a shower in the morning to wash off any sweat and gunk that accumulates when you sleep.
For some people they prefer to take a shower at night and not in the morning but even taking a shower in the morning and again at night is even better to keep you clean and fresh.
For people who don't get dirty or sweat a lot during the day then taking a shower every day is unnecessary.
However for kids and people who do get dirty working outside or sweating then they should take a shower everyday to stay clean and healthy.
Although I don't get dirty or sweaty everyday I still like to take a shower before going to bed as it freshens me up and helps me feel better and I also get better sleep as a result of the relaxing shower.
A kid above age 4 should shower everyday as they tend to get dirty and can begin to smell even if you don't notice it.
Although it's okay to skip a shower once a day every so often.
Unless the child gets dirty then they of course should shower or bathe to clean up.
A child can bathe or take a shower by themselves by the time they are age 5 or 6 years old.
However with a child even though they can take a shower by themselves may need help or supervising to ensure the child actually bathes or showers and gets clean.
Some kids may not actually bathe or shower when you think they are doing so.
But at age 5 to 6 years old a child can most often easily bathe or shower by themselves without any assistance.
I started showering and bathing myself when I was 5 years old.
However my mom would still come into the bathroom and check on me and help me wash my hair and back as well.
But other than that I could shower and bathe myself without any issue.
Some kids may not be ready to shower alone until they are 6 or 7.
It depends on the child but you can begin letting your child bathe alone or shower alone by age 5 to 6 years old.
